Away from the hustle and bustle of the Goa beaches, Tarkali offers a bit of tranquility during the off peak season. There is a state run resort that is equisite in terms of its location. It has some nice unique stay options such as a large boat shaped cottage complete with air conditioning and other facilities. They also have a boat house that takes you in the water and you can stay overnight inside and enjoy lunch and dinner within the boat. This may not be available during the off season period so better to call and confirm with them.
